Job Summary

Tactical Air Support is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Mechanic II to join our team. As a key member of our Maintenance Division, you will be responsible for performing organizational, intermediate, and limited depot-level maintenance on aircraft electrical/avionics systems.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to build harnesses and install aircraft components
  • Perform inspection, operational test, repair, modification, troubleshooting, and replacement of aircraft electrical/avionics systems
  • Provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to other teammates as needed
  • Work with high-performance military aircraft, including F-5/T-38 or other Fighter Aircraft
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three years' previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience, preferably in the military or with a government aviation maintenance contractor
  • Valid state driver's license
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance
Desired Experience/Skills
  • Vocational school or associate degree advantageous
  • Government-approved certification advantageous
Work Environment

Occasional aircraft hangar or warehouse environment with exposure to loud noises, fumes from engines and chemicals, unpredictable climate, electrical shock, or trip or slip hazards. May be exposed to or required to handle hazardous materials.
