Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Engineer to lead our machine learning engineering efforts for a leading west coast-based healthcare system. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

About the Role

This position requires expertise in deploying and maintaining production-grade machine learning models with real-time inference, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing end-to-end scalable ML infrastructures using cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and deploying machine learning models with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Leveraging containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for streamlined deployment
  • Collaborating with data scientists and DevOps teams to drive engineering efforts forward
  • Ongoing monitoring and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models
  • Maintaining clear documentation of ML Ops processes for team knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • 3+ years relevant Data Science or ML Engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field; Master's preferred
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and healthcare regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Certification(s) in Data Science or Machine Learning desired
