Key Responsibilities:


As a Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of essential manufacturing equipment. Your expertise in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance will be crucial to our success.

You will be responsible for maintaining our production machinery and systems in optimal condition.

Core Responsibilities:
Your duties will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Supervising the daily functions of the maintenance department, ensuring all machinery and equipment operate efficiently to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Creating and executing preventive maintenance strategies to extend equipment lifespan and reduce costs associated with significant repairs or replacements.
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex machinery issues, leveraging your mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Leading, training, and mentoring a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with other departments and senior management to prioritize maintenance tasks based on production schedules and operational requirements.
  • Ensuring adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations and standards related to safety and equipment maintenance in a manufacturing context.
  • Regularly assessing the effectiveness of maintenance procedures and implementing necessary enhancements.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Facilities Maintenance Manager position will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience within a maintenance department, ideally in the manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a proven track record of training and mentoring personnel.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a strong aptitude for diagnosing and resolving intricate machinery issues.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and standards in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective coordination with other departments and senior management.
  • A degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred.
