Overview

CosmoProf is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Management
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
    • Ensure all brand standards are met, including merchandising, POGs, marketing, and back rooms
    • Act as the main point of contact for customer issues and concerns
  • People Development
    • Engage, train, and develop a high-performing team to achieve positive results
    • Identify strengths and opportunities for each associate and provide coaching or counseling as needed
    • Maintain positive associate relations by resolving concerns and keeping associates informed of relevant company information
  • Operations
    • Ensure execution of all company processes through training, management, analysis, and continuous improvement
    • Manage inventory through ordering and shipment processing
    • Manage payroll hours to meet the needs of the business and schedule accordingly
  • Safety and Loss Prevention
    • Ensure the store environment is safe at all times for associates and customers
    • Protect company assets by ensuring all inventory and cash control procedures are followed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
  • At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
  • Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives
  • Effective communication skills

Compensation
