Overview:
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will proficiently manage all incoming phone inquiries, encompassing various aspects of patient scheduling and appointment management.

Your role will focus on enhancing operational efficiency by ensuring the precision of patient data and capitalizing on opportunities to facilitate patient flow within the clinic.


Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments and follow up with patients regarding rescheduling, missed appointments, and reminders.
- Collect and verify all essential demographic information accurately.
- Ensure that incoming and outgoing clinical summaries and referrals are correctly documented in patient records.
- Confirm receipt of necessary referrals from healthcare providers or insurance companies.
- Appropriately triage calls to ensure alignment between location, physician, and patient symptoms.
- Serve as a communication bridge among patients, guests, administrative staff, and healthcare providers.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in an office or customer service role.
- Strong computer skills and excellent verbal communication abilities.

Preferred:
- Experience in the healthcare sector.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and proven teamwork capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
