Electro-Mechanical Specialist

Teledyne Battery Products seeks a skilled Electro-Mechanical Specialist for a full-time position in Redlands, CA. As an advanced technician, you will perform maintenance and repair of various manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience working with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and other electro-mechanical & semi-automated equipment. Experience with automation equipment and systems is ideal but not required.

• Advanced Troubleshooting Skills for Evaluations and Problem-Solving
• Repair and Corrective Maintenance to Ensure Equipment Reliability
• Diagnostics and Corrective Action for Malfunctioning or Failed Equipment
• Utilization of Diagnostic Equipment and Measuring Devices
• Maintenance of Up-to-Date Software and Next Generation Technologies
• Modifications to Improve Uptime or Overall Process Performance
• Decision-Making and Problem-Solving from Analyzing Information
• Support for Projects Related to Equipment Moves, Overhauls, and Qualifications
• Maintenance of Spare Part Inventories and Purchase Orders
• Equipment Development Activities under Engineering Team Direction
• Technical SME Support and Project Leadership for Complex Equipment Issues
• Safety Program Compliance and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO)
• Machine Line Operations Efficiency through Maintenance, Repair, and Parts Replacement
• Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Software
• Development and Refinement of Preventative Maintenance Procedures

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in a Technical Field or Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience
• 6+ Years' Experience as an Equipment Maintenance Technician
• Manufacturing Automation Equipment Experience Preferred
