Compensation:
$21.50 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Kitchen Steward is responsible for ensuring that all dishware and utensils are thoroughly cleaned, organized, and maintained in a hygienic and safe environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operates dishwashing machinery to guarantee a continuous supply of clean and sanitized tableware. Upholds personal hygiene and sanitation standards as mandated by health regulations. Complies with proper food storage, handling, and preparation protocols. Adheres to established cleanliness standards.

Maintains a tidy and secure work area through routine floor upkeep, waste disposal, appropriate equipment storage, and cleaning of the dishwashing area before the conclusion of each shift.

Safely handles and utilizes cleaning chemicals required for sanitizing tableware. Completes all necessary training requirements. Performs any additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED is preferred.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Experience in customer service and a passion for teamwork. Eagerness to acquire new skills and contribute positively to the team. A flexible mindset and awareness of team dynamics. Maintains clean and organized service areas. Follows established procedures as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures provided to staff.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
N/A

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regular walking, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, climbing, etc.

INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT:
Performs tasks under direct supervision, utilizing well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by a supervisor, with limited opportunities for independent decision-making.
