Job Title: Automotive Technician

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our outstanding fleet maintenance team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to maintain a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and maintaining various systems, including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical, and engine control.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain various systems, including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical, and engine control.
  • Operate standard and manual transmission, power and pneumatic tools.
  • Meet all requirements to be Power Industrial Truck Operations (PITO) certified.
  • Work cooperatively in a diverse work environment and communicate effectively through sight, hearing, and/or otherwise.
Requirements:
  • Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computer.
  • Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Preferred.
