Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist will partner with a dynamic team to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes. This role requires a strong foundation in respiratory care modalities, therapies, and equipment, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians and care teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations.
  • Adhere to established policies, including infection control and isolation protocols, HIPAA, and time and attendance procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
  • Less than 1 year of experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure from the State of Texas Medical Board.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board Respiratory Care.
