Nurse Specialist in Hematology/Oncology

As a Staff Nurse II in Hematology/Oncology at The University of Vermont Health Network, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with cancer diagnoses. Your expertise will involve assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care. You will work collaboratively with the oncologists, social worker, infusion team, and scheduling team to coordinate patient care. Your responsibilities will include telephone triage of symptoms, patient education, and experience in relevant clinical areas. Oncology experience is preferred, and OCN certification is highly valued.
Responsibilities:
Provide professional nursing care to patients with cancer diagnoses
Collaborate with the oncology team to coordinate patient care
Conduct telephone triage of symptoms and provide patient education

Requirements:
1 year of experience in a relevant clinical area
Oncology experience preferred
