Inpatient Physical Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapist to join our Inpatient Unit at Northern Nevada Health System. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients, providing expert care and guidance to help them achieve their maximum potential.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and assess patients to identify their physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer physical therapy modalities and treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician to restore function and prevent disability.
- Assist patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
- Coordinate and supervise the responsibilities of supportive staff, including physical therapy assistants and aides.
- Participate in operational aspects of the department, maintain performance improvement activities, and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
- Ensure that patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis.
- Participate in all infection control, departmental equipment training, and organizational safety programs.
- Current State Physical Therapy Licensure.
- Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of physical therapy, preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
