Position Overview

The Travel Radiology Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality imaging services in various healthcare settings. This role requires a strong background in radiographic imaging and a commitment to patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • Essential Credentials: Must possess current certifications at the time of application.
  • New Mexico State License
  • ARRT (R) Certification
  • BLS Certification (AHA only)
Job Specifications
  • Specialization: Radiology Technology
  • Travel Experience: Minimum of 1 year required; first-time travelers are not eligible.
  • Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of experience with a solid understanding of radiographic imaging equipment, anatomy, physiology, and positioning techniques.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic computer skills is essential.
Position Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in the field is required, with a focus on radiographic imaging.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills is mandatory.
  • Essential Credentials: Must have current certifications at the time of application.
  • Previous employees of CHRISTUS St. Vincent are not eligible for rehire.
  • No infractions on license; candidates with any will not be considered.
Work Schedule
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift Schedule: Monday, Thursday, and Friday
  • Weekend Coverage: Required as necessary to cover absences, not a weekly requirement.
  • On-Call Duties: Required to be on call for 2 nights each month.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.
Additional Information
  • Proof of vaccination for flu and COVID-19 or an approved medical or religious exemption is required prior to commencement.
  • Travel experience of at least 1 year is mandatory; first-time travelers will not be considered.
  • Uniform: Turquoise scrubs are required.
  • Submission Packet: Candidates must submit a complete packet including a filled-out cover sheet, work history, two recent references, skills checklist, ARRT (R), BLS, New Mexico State License, and COVID documentation.
