We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at Sigma Health Rehab. As a leading skilled nursing facility, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified RT who is passionate about working with the geriatric population. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating and treating patients independently without direct supervision and a strong desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and implement respiratory techniques to maintain and progress rehab patients with various respiratory illnesses and non-respiratory conditions.
  • Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment as needed.
  • Complete bedside treatments, in-services for nursing staff every quarter, and daily, weekly, and monthly documentation.
  • Attend IDT meetings and participate in tracking, auditing, and caseload management.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of COARC-accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
  • Licensed as RRT or CRT.
  • Licensed in the state where practicing and BLS certification.
Compensation and Benefits:
