We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Finance Analyst to join our team at Bank of America. As a key member of our quantitative finance group, you will be responsible for conducting complex modeling projects and leading the development of new models and analytic processes.
Key Responsibilities- Model Validation and Governance: Perform independent model validation, annual model review, and ongoing monitoring report review to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liquidity Risk Management: Conduct independent review of liquidity risk management processes and models to identify risks and implement measures to prevent and mitigate losses.
- Project Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership for projects related to liquidity risk modeling approaches, effectively challenging and influencing the strategic direction and tactical approaches of these projects.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and work directly with relevant modeling teams, Front Line Units, and external regulators as needed.
- Technical Reporting: Write technical reports for distribution and presentation to model developers, senior management, audit, and banking regulators.
- Expertise and Knowledge: Act as a senior-level resource or resident expert on analytic/quantitative modeling techniques used for liquidity risk management.
- Business Liaison: Liaise with businesses to understand market trends and impacts on portfolio, using knowledge of liquidity risk management and its applicability to various business lines and products.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulations as well as policies and procedures established by the company.
- Risk Management: Manage risk requests, breach remediations, and provide risk-effective challenges for front-line units.
- Reporting and Analysis: Develop risk analyses and high-quality reports shared with senior management and regulators.
- Education: Masters degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Quantitative Skills: Masters in finance or economics with demonstrated quantitative skills.
- Industry Experience: Experience in working with large banking institutions preferred.
- Certifications: FRM and CFA certifications preferred.
- Liquidity Risk Management: Knowledge and 5+ years of experience in building and understanding of liquidity risk management models.
- Leadership and Communication: Proven leadership abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills with stakeholders of varying analytic skill and knowledge levels.
