We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health General Manager to lead our healthcare services team at Klamath Tribal Health and Family Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our health center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and driving strategic initiatives to improve healthcare outcomes for our community.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement short- and long-term objectives in partnership with the Tribal Council and Health Advisory Committee.
- Program Development: Plan, implement, and evaluate healthcare programs to meet the needs of our tribal community, while ensuring compliance with Tribal Council policy and regulatory requirements.
- Oversight and Supervision: Provide oversight and supervision of individual departments and programs to ensure effective delivery of services and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Quality Improvement: Employ standards of the AAAHC, Inc. to ensure high-quality patient care, including patient rights, risk management, quality improvement, and infection prevention and control.
- Financial Management: Oversee the formulation of budgets, accounting for revenues and expenditures, and authorize annual program operation budgets.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Administration, Health, or Business field with emphasis on health services.
- Experience: Five or more years of progressive experience in administrative/leadership roles in healthcare, including Tribal/Indian health centers, federally qualified health centers, ambulatory surgical centers, physician group practices, or hospital settings.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, cultural competence, and ability to work effectively with the Klamath Tribal community and diverse workforce.
- Master's degree in Administration, Health, Business, Public Health, or related field.
- Positive working experience with Native Americans in a healthcare setting.
