Emergency Department RN FT Nights Job Description

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Irving is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team on a Full-Time basis, working Nights.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will provide direct patient care and documentation to patients presenting to the ED with a variety of complaints. You will also be responsible for triage, main sections with higher acuity, and Express care/fast track with lower acuity/clinic type patients.

Department Specifics

Our Emergency Department is currently seeking Level IV Trauma designation, Primary Stroke Center, and Primary Chest Pain Center. We have a wonderful EMS partnership, Radiology with CT and Sono within ED, Self-Scheduling with voluntary on call, Certified Emergency Nurse fees paid, Evidence Based Practice and Process Improvement projects ongoing, Trauma training, and Express Care/fast track with lower acuity/clinic type patients.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must be a graduate of an accredited program, have specialized field of study in nursing, and at least 2 years of specialty experience. You must also have a current and valid nursing license and BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role.
