MedStar Medical Group is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join our Inpatient Transplant Surgery team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
About the RoleThis is an inpatient-only position with 12-hour shifts, 13 shifts every 4 weeks, and 24/7 coverage for days, nights, weekends, and select holidays. There is no OR time in this role.

MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute is one of the largest liver transplant centers in the nation, with more than 100 transplants a year. We transplant patients faster than any other center in the region.
As one of the highest volume transplant programs in the United States, we have performed more than 7,500 liver, kidney, small bowel, colon, stomach and multi organ transplants. We also perform hepatobiliary surgery and offer auto islet cell transplantation for those patients suffering from the pain of chronic pancreatitis.
