AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Oregon to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide training and resources to educators and staff on effective strategies to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
- State License is Required to Start the Assignment.
- Must have Oregon Speech Language Pathology License.
- PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics.
- Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
