The Transportation Generalist Senior - Field Operations position performs as survey lead worker in absence of the crew lead, sets up real time kinematic global position systems or total station, performs data comparison from real time kinematic global position systems or total station, and assists survey lead in construction survey office activities.
Requirements
To perform this job at the Transportation Generalist Senior (TGS) level, candidates must possess or have the ability to obtain a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with no Air Brake Restriction and Tanker Endorsement within 5-months of initial placement into the position, permit within 3-months. Candidates should also have two years performing surveys (e.g., land, location, construction, and/or geodetic control surveys, etc.), mapping or related activities, OR one year of experience performing surveys (e.g., land, location, construction, and/or geodetic control surveys, etc.), mapping or related activities; AND one year experience in performing roadway inspection, design or related activities.
