About the Role

As a Sales Associate at Wayfair, you will be the face of our brand, providing authentic, friendly customer service that exceeds our customers' expectations. You will be responsible for driving sales in the store by asking insightful questions, guiding customers through their shopping journey, and providing product recommendations that meet their needs.

You will also be an expert in our services, including credit, financing, warranty, installation, and delivery, and will be able to communicate the value adds to our customers' purchases. Additionally, you will participate in all operational aspects of the store, including processing new products, floor sets, replenishment, substitutions, and general upkeep.

What We're Looking For
  • 1+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in a design-related environment
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth
  • Strong organization, self-motivation, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a willingness to adapt and grow
  • Technical acumen to learn necessary software, with proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications a plus
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, talking, and hearing
  • Frequent handling, lifting, and reaching
  • Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Regular lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs
Compensation and Benefits
  • Compensation starting at $16.50 per hour, with increases based on relevant experience and substantial quarterly bonuses
