Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a GI Nursing Specialist. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, implementing and monitoring care plans, and communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and informed decision-making.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, facilitating efficient and effective communication among teams.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Graduate of a board-approved Registered Nurse Program required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- RN with approximately 18 months or more experience preferred.
We prefer candidates with ACLS & BLS certification, two years or more experience as a RN, and experience as a GI procedural nurse or other procedural area.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary range for this position is $93,411 - $125,511 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
