Job Title: Lead AV Technician

Inter Technologies Corporation (ITC) is a leading provider of expert audio-visual integration services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead AV Technician to join our team in Wyoming/Colorado.

Job Summary:

This is a regional travel position that requires the ability to work independently and coordinate with teams to ensure the successful installation of audio-visual systems. The successful candidate will have prior AV team leadership and management experience, with a strong background in CTS certification and the ability to achieve CTS-I certification within 3 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee teams responsible for the installation of audio-visual systems
  • Coordinate and schedule installation teams and ensure appropriate travel arrangements and accommodations
  • Train and oversee level one and level two technicians working at job sites
  • Troubleshoot audio and video equipment installations
  • Install and terminate cables with the appropriate solder or compression connector
  • Drill in drywall, concrete, and cinderblock for the purpose of installing projectors, projection screens, cameras, and speaker systems
  • Work in confined spaces and at heights in excess of 10ft
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Prior AV team leadership and management experience (2-4 years)
  • CTS certification is required
  • Ability to travel on regular/constant basis and often on short notice with long/unusual work hours
  • Strong communication skills and experience directing teams
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with standard office productivity software
  • Experience and comfort with hand tools, small power tools, and industrial tools
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly and make important decisions under tight timelines

Work Environment:

This is a regional travel position that requires the ability to work in various environments, including normal comfortable air-conditioned environments and less comfortable cold or hot construction environments. The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors on rare occasions.
