About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in processing membership cancellation requests, handling member inquiries, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities
  • Process membership cancellation requests in Oracle, SFDC, and update the cancellation tracker within established timelines.
  • Maintain member files in shared systems and manage cancellation requests.
  • Handle member inquiries about cancellations, billings, and refunds.
  • Process member refunds with a high degree of accuracy.
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in general accounting or transaction processing.
  • Proficiency with general ledger, financial statement reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, research, and resolution skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to meet established deadlines.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
  • Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a team player attitude.
