Job Summary

The Osborn is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our Skilled Nursing patients.

Responsibilities
  • Accurate Patient Record Keeping: Record patients' medical histories accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Vital Sign Monitoring: Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and other vital signs.
  • Patient Observation: Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side effects of medications, and other important health indicators.
  • Medical Care Administration: Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
Requirements
  • NYS LPN License: Possess a valid New York State LPN license.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Confidentiality and Best Practices: Understand and adhere to confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
  • Compassion and Stress Management: Possess a compassionate and calm demeanor, with the ability to handle stress and pressure.
