Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts, including inspections, part replacements, and troubleshooting.
- Interpret technical manuals and manufacturer instructions to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose and repair mast and attachment components, as well as brake and hydraulic systems.
- Work on LP, gas, and diesel systems, and replace broken or defective parts as needed.
- Reassemble forklifts and make necessary adjustments for safe operation.
- Perform safety inspections and ensure work area and methods meet safety requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Two or more years of experience in a related field, including maintenance of various lift trucks.
- Manufacturing, automotive, military, or trade school experience with applied skills preferred.
- Solid foundation of mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industrial electricity up to 440 volts preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screen required.
