About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Tech to join our team at PSN Affiliates. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Decontaminate and sterilize instruments, medical supplies, and equipment, and assemble, wrap, and sterilize trays of instruments.
  • Monitor biological and chemical wash solution to ensure quality and consistency for decontamination of instruments and medical equipment.
  • Sort mismatched sets of instruments, trays, and medical equipment and make them available to sterile processing customers in a timely manner.
  • Restock, label, and maintain inventory, submit requisitions, collect and distribute instruments, trays, crash carts, and facility medical equipment.
  • Verify that equipment functions properly, requisition for equipment maintenance, repair, or replacement, and remove defective equipment.
  • Maintain a clean work area and assist with maintaining established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, and quality improvement, safety, and environmental and infection control standards.
Requirements
  • Certified Surgical Technologist Required
  • Spine and Ortho experience preferred
  • 3 Years' experience as a Surgical Technologist Required
  • Patient Compassion
  • Excellent Customer Service Standards
