The Department of Urology at the University of California, San Francisco, is actively seeking a fellowship-trained urologic oncologist. The ideal candidate will possess an MD degree and be board-certified or eligible through the American Board of Urology. This role is positioned within the Clinical or In Residence series at the Assistant Professor level.
Key Qualifications: The successful applicant should demonstrate proficiency in various surgical techniques, including open, robotic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic methods. There are ample opportunities for initiating investigator-led outcomes research and engaging in translational collaborations with esteemed and well-funded researchers at UCSF and its affiliates.
Work Environment: The UCSF Urology department is expanding its outreach facilities, and part of the urologic oncologist's responsibilities may involve working at these locations, as well as at affiliated sites.
Education and Training: Candidates must exhibit recognized expertise in the education of trainees, encompassing Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows. It is essential that all applicants provide a comprehensive list of current and/or pending qualifications upon submission.

Compensation: The posted UC salary scales establish the minimum pay based on rank and step at appointment. This position includes participation in the health sciences compensation plan, which allows for eligibility for additional compensation.
