Cultivation Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cultivation Technician to join our team at AYR Wellness. As a key member of our cultivation team, you will be responsible for executing cultivation plans and ensuring the highest quality cannabis production.

  • Cultivation Responsibilities:
  • Cultivating cannabis plants from cloning to harvest, including watering, labeling, and inventory management.
  • Monitoring and maintaining optimal growing conditions, including temperature, humidity, and lighting.
  • Inspecting plants for quality and detecting any signs of pests or disease.
  • Harvesting and curing cannabis, including trimming and weighing.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in the cannabis or agricultural industry a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to dust, kief, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Work in rooms with bright light and moderate heat and humidity.
  • Constant background noise from environmental systems and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Constant movement of hands and fingers.
  • Frequent ladder use and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
