About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our Platform Analytics team. As a key player, you will improve and measure the performance of Disney's streaming services, including Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert ambiguous stakeholder queries into structured data requirements and analyses.
  • Provide actionable recommendations through detailed analysis.
  • Utilize SQL and scripting languages to analyze structured and unstructured data.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data accuracy and quality.
  • Presentation insights effectively using data visualization tools or oral presentations.
  • Design and execute A/B testing to evaluate quality performance and enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional curiosity, analytical skills, and drive for insights that impact business outcomes.
  • 5+ years of experience as an analyst with proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for complex querying and analysis.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Matplotlib, Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, or Databricks.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end analytical projects from documenting requirements to delivering meaningful impact.
  • Strong relationships with teammates, business partners, and technical colleagues.
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies for digital products.
  • Highly motivated and capable of working independently.
