Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team at Rowman & Littlefield/National Book Network (NBN). As a key member of our Special Projects Department, you will be responsible for building packs/sets of books, boxing books to specific customer requirements, and applying customer barcodes and stickers to books.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and packing books for customers
  • Receiving and processing new stock
  • Assisting in the shipping and receiving department
  • Using RF scanners and desktop computers

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and perform basic math computations

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms
  • Frequently required to walk and climb or balance
  • Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
