We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer, Level 2 with advanced security clearance to join our team and contribute to our mission-critical software development projects.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high degree of technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. As a Software Engineer, Level 2, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying complex software systems that meet the needs of modern satellite communication technologies.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Design and Implement Software Systems: You will design and implement software systems using C++ and other relevant technologies, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  2. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work collaboratively with system architects, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure that software meets user requirements and is delivered on schedule.
  3. Facilitate Knowledge Sharing: You will maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs, processes, and interfaces to facilitate knowledge sharing and project continuity.
  4. Meet User Requirements: You will work closely with customers and stakeholders to understand their requirements and derive software designs that meet their needs.

Qualifications and Education

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Proficiency in C++ development with a solid understanding of real-time systems and performance optimization is required.
