As an Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, monitoring their vital signs during procedures, and providing post-operative care.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for surgery by administering medications, conducting pre-operative assessments, and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Provide post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and monitoring for complications.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medication administration, vital signs, and surgical outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Nurse.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
