CBAMFL Inc is seeking a proficient Automotive Technician to become a vital part of our dynamic repair facility. In this role, you will support our clientele by identifying and resolving various automotive performance and functionality issues.
As an Automotive Technician, you are expected to possess a comprehensive knowledge of all vehicle systems and components. Your responsibilities will also include the upkeep of repair shop tools, preparing cost assessments, and fostering a friendly atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will excel in customer interactions, clearly articulating vehicle concerns and offering insightful recommendations.
- Diagnose and rectify vehicle issues presented at the shop
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake replacements
- Conduct thorough inspections of all vehicle systems, including the engine, transmission, and braking systems
- Prepare repair estimates and timelines, communicating information to customers in a straightforward manner
- Maintain precise records and documentation of repairs
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory
- Completion of an automotive service technician training program or an associate degree is preferred
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) certification is advantageous
- Strong customer service and communication abilities are essential
