Position Overview:
As a Licensed Engineer, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of the Central Heating Plant, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Your role will involve constant monitoring of boiler operations, auxiliary systems, chillers, air conditioning units, pumps, and heat exchangers situated within the mechanical rooms of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections and perform necessary adjustments and repairs on all machinery.
  • Respond to emergency situations with prompt and effective repairs.
  • Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting and rectifying issues with refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid NYC/Dept of Buildings Engineer's license for operating boilers, engines, and pumps.
  • NYC Fire Department Refrigeration License is mandatory.
  • A High School diploma or GED is required.
Compensation:
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $59.
