Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Per Diem Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Interventional Radiology department. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule, with up to 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Analyze laboratory results and medical history to provide accurate patient care
  • Educate patients and families on their treatment plans and procedures
  • Insert IV lines and administer medications, including procedural sedation
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and patterns during procedures
  • Oversee the safety and comfort of patients during procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved nursing program
  • Current State of California Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Background in procedural sedation, angiography, and special procedures
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) or Cardiovascular Nursing (CVN) certification
  • Advanced level of clinical nursing practice in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, ICU, or ER experience
  • Skilled in performing circulator duties during invasive procedures
