We are currently seeking a skilled Caregiver to join our team at St. Gabriel Corpus Christi. As a Caregiver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents, supporting them in maintaining their independence and dignity.

Salary
The annual salary for this position is approximately $27,360, based on an hourly wage of $13.

Job Responsibilities
The Caregiver is accountable for delivering high-quality care and support services to residents, encompassing both physical and emotional needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing personalized care and support to residents, recognizing and respecting their unique preferences and requirements
- Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while prioritizing resident comfort and safety
- Preparing meals and snacks that cater to residents' dietary needs and preferences
- Monitoring resident vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to supervising charge nurse
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of resident care and services provided

Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in long-term care or a related field considered a significant asset
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- The ability to lift, bend, and move residents safely and comfortably
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with residents, families, and colleagues
