Responsibilities:
  • Visit clients' homes to care for their pets, providing attention and affection as needed
  • Take dogs for walks, ensuring their physical and mental well-being
  • Feed pets as requested, maintaining their dietary needs
  • Check water supplies and refill as necessary to ensure pets' comfort
  • Patrol homes for any accidents or damage caused by pets in the owners' absence
  • Clean any accidents or damage discovered, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Communicate effectively with management to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Reside in Northern VA, within 3 miles of 22206, for convenience and efficiency
  • Be available for a minimum of 2 hours between 10AM and 3PM, Monday to Friday
  • Own a reliable mode of transportation to perform duties and responsibilities
  • Have a reliable smartphone with internet access and data plan for communication and record-keeping
  • Be detail-oriented, able to follow instructions, and possess excellent communication skills
  • Be responsible, reliable, and dependable, with a strong commitment to animal care
  • Be willing to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing situations
  • Commit to a minimum of 6 months, with a preference for longer-term engagement
  • Pass a criminal background check to ensure the safety and trust of our clients and their pets
