Key Responsibilities- Assist with the management of patients' oral health, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
- Verify patient identities before administering treatment, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including new patient evaluations and follow-up appointments.
- Review patients' medical histories and relevant oral health information to provide comprehensive care.
- Provide a range of oral hygiene services, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, sealant application, and fluoride treatment, in accordance with industry best practices.
- Support dentists in providing dental assistance, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Offer personalized oral health education and counseling to patients, promoting healthy habits and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate records of provided services, documenting patient charts and treatment plans.
- State-registered Dental Hygienist licensure
- At least one year of experience in a dental office setting
- Proficiency in electronic dental records
