We are currently seeking skilled individuals for the role of Machine Operator for our operations. The positions available include both 1st and 2nd shifts. The 1st shift operates from 6am to 2pm, while the 2nd shift runs from 2pm to 12am. We welcome candidates with prior experience or those eager to learn. As a Machine Operator at Opus Packaging, you will be responsible for producing high-quality corrugated packaging products, aligning with our corporate vision and values.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to comprehend safety guidelines and operational instructions.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
  • Commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a warehouse or packaging setting.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools such as tape measures and micrometers.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and frequent lifting of 10-20 pounds.
  • Understanding of machine setup and operation.
