Position Overview:
Epic Travel Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN specializing in CVOR for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Job Details:
  • Specialty: CVOR
  • Discipline: RN
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours
  • Shift: 8 hours, days
  • Employment Type: Travel

Shift Details:
Variable days with shifts ranging from 7a-3:30p to 7a-5:30p. Expect a balanced schedule with one day off to be determined.

On-Call Requirements:
Availability for on-call duty for 2 weekend days every 6 weeks, with pre-assigned shifts for vascular and general call.

Qualifications:
  • Active Illinois RN License
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR
  • Experience in vascular and ophthalmology procedures
  • General OR experience is essential
  • BLS certification required; CNOR preferred

Essential Skills:
Experience with electrosurgical units and fiber optic light sources is necessary. Proficiency in various surgical cases including:
  • Endo/Laparoscopic
  • General Surgery
  • Ophthalmology
  • Urology
  • Vascular Surgery

General Surgery Skills:
Experience in procedures such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernia repair is required.

Hospital Environment:
This position is within a Magnet and Teaching hospital, recognized for its commitment to excellence in patient care.
