Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and members, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Greet guests and members entering the restaurant, seating them in a clean and available table, and introducing them to their server.
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, cleanliness, and the well-being of restaurant guests.
  • Assist servers when needed, answer phone calls, and record reservations.
  • Effectively communicate reservations to the MOD and Chef.
  • Maintain knowledge of the resort property and inform guests about daily and weekly specials.
  • Tend to and anticipate guests' needs, restock silverware, and perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management, and co-workers.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand/stoop for the entirety of the scheduled shift.
  • Must agree and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
  • Must have and maintain current Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications.
  • Must be able to multitask and work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
