Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Implementation and Coordination Specialist to join our team at NOAA. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Growing Regional Resilience Coordination on Aquidneck Island project, supporting climate resilience efforts across three municipalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in liaising with project partners and municipal staff to advance project implementation.
  • Attend relevant working group meetings and help keep projects moving forward.
  • Work with staff on grant administration and reporting.
  • Conduct community engagement efforts to promote priority projects.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will have a college degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, project management, or urban planning. They should possess strong project management, written and oral communication, and organizational skills.

The salary range for this position is $48,363 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include medical insurance, paid holidays, personal days, professional development training, travel funding, and relocation allowance.
