Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant in Palm Springs, CA. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans to address these needs.
  • IEP Development and Implementation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless support and services.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student assessments, treatments, and progress.

Requirements:

  • Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field and valid SLP license in California.
  • Certifications and Experience: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
