Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems for our electric RV trailers, ensuring seamless integration with vehicle components.
2. Create and implement innovative design concepts, guiding projects from initial ideation through to production.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing, to meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
4. Utilize engineering principles and analysis tools, such as Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to optimize system designs.
5. Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including CAD models, schematics, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for project stakeholders.
6. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the automotive sector, identifying opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
7. Conduct design reviews, providing insightful feedback to enhance product quality and functionality.
8. Effectively communicate with both internal teams and external partners to resolve technical challenges and align on project objectives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience in the automotive or recreational vehicle sectors, with a proven history of successful product development.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly CATIA, along with design analysis tools (e.g., FEA, CFD).
- Strong understanding of vehicle design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, capable of presenting technical information clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic startup environment.
- Familiarity with vehicle safety standards and regulations is advantageous.
- Experience in the RV industry is a plus.
