KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Management:
  • Oversee daily warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure a well-organized and clean warehouse environment to maintain product quality and safety.
  • Manage inventory levels effectively to maximize storage capacity and reduce carrying costs.
Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor warehouse personnel, fostering a motivated and competent team.
  • Delegate tasks, establish performance goals, and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
  • Encourage a culture of safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Inventory Management:
  • Implement inventory management practices to accurately monitor and control stock levels.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventory checks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to predict demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Order Processing:
  • Ensure prompt and precise order fulfillment to satisfy customer needs.
  • Track order fulfillment metrics and initiate process enhancements as necessary.
  • Coordinate with shipping companies and logistics partners to streamline shipping and delivery operations.
Quality Control:
  • Work with quality assurance teams to guarantee that cosmetic products meet stringent quality standards.
  • Establish quality checks and inspections throughout the warehouse workflow.
Safety and Compliance:
  • Enforce safety measures and protocols to safeguard warehouse staff and product quality.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and standards, particularly those related to cosmetics and hazardous materials.
Equipment Oversight:
  • Schedule and manage maintenance and repairs for warehouse machinery, including forklifts and conveyor systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain precise records of inventory levels, shipping and receiving operations, and warehouse performance metrics.
  • Generate reports and provide regular updates to upper management.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Relevant certifications are advantageous. A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5+ years of experience in warehouse supervision, ideally within the cosmetics or consumer goods sectors.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required)
