VCA Kaneohe Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our overnight support team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

• Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including lab sample collection and processing, medication preparation and administration, and radiology and diagnostics.
• Provide compassionate care for patients, including post-surgical and post-dentistry care, and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless client service and a positive experience for patients and their owners.
• Perform venipuncture and catheter placement, and assist with anesthesia and dentistry procedures.
• Fill prescriptions and maintain accurate inventory of medications and supplies.
• Round on overnight patients to ensure their needs are met and provide updates to the veterinary team.

• 3-5 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician or equivalent.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
