This is a part-time position that works approximately 30 hours per week. The estimated annual salary range is based on the location of New Orleans, LA, and the typical hourly wage for a Cook II in the United States.

Job Description:Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team at the New Orleans Marriott. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. You will also wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients, and prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a Cook, you will need to have at least 1 year of related work experience and a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. You should be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, reach overhead and below the knees, and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
