Job Summary:

As a Guest Room Attendant at Penn National Gaming, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms. This includes vacuuming, cleaning, and shampooing carpet, as well as mopping, scrubbing, and polishing hard floors. You will also be responsible for moving, rearranging, and cleaning furniture, washing and cleaning wall light fixtures, louvers, ceilings, shelves, and outside walls. Additionally, you will ensure that every room is clean and everything in the room is in proper working order. You will also clean windows and mirrors in guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure guest rooms are clean and well-maintained
  • Clean and maintain all surfaces, including floors, walls, and furniture
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and mops
  • Restock supplies and linens as needed
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to management


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills


Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
