Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Lebanon, OH

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong understanding of debits and credits, as well as a thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player who can manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Operations: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Financial Statements: Prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • General Ledger Accounts: Review and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Closing Processes: Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
  • Tax Audits and Returns: Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all internal processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and advice on management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role.
  • GAAP Knowledge: Strong understanding of debits, credits, and GAAP principles.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
