Job Summary

The Athletic Trainer plays a vital role in developing and implementing comprehensive healthcare programs for patients, clients, and athletes. This position involves injury/illness prevention and wellness protection, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate and emergency care, treatment and rehabilitation, and organizational and professional health and well-being of individuals under the direction of a physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health care programs for patients, clients, and athletes
  • Provide clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate and emergency care, treatment and rehabilitation
  • Collaborate with and under the general supervision of a licensed physical therapist
  • Assist in provision of physical medicine and rehabilitation services to patients, as prescribed by overseeing physician
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine or related field
  • Current State of Michigan Licensed Athletic Trainer
  • New Grads encouraged to apply
